CtrlPublishing Announces CtrlLayers for CS5 - easy layer management for creatives
Stockholm, Sweden, July 22, 2010 - CtrlPublishing, a leading developer of Adobe InDesign and Adobe InCopy plug-ins as well as advanced workflow solutions, today released its utility CtrlLayers 1.1 for InDesign CS5.

Managing InDesign Layers
CtrlLayers is a plug-in for InDesign users who require an easy solution for extending functionality when working with layers. Art directors and graphic designers can, for example, at an early stage in a project export a layer to a new document allowing copywriters and translators the chance to start their work. At a later stage, they can easily import that layer without worrying about how it will effect the overall layout. This comes in quite handy when you are dealing with different languages or even personalized versions of a document. With the release of CtrlLayers 1.1 CtrlPublishing also introduces a Scripting API Reference guide for users that want to further enhance CtrlLayers with scripts for automation.

Plug and Play
Creatives are already familiar with importing color swatches from an InDesign document, with CtrlLayers they can now also import layers from other InDesign documents. CtrlLayers is so easy to use so that you won’t lose time with training and getting to know the product – just plug it in, and you can start playing.
