CtrlPublishing was last summer contracted by Adobe to perform CS3 development. The projects were mainly focused around building applications and providing sample code to visualize the workflow possibilities with Adobe Bridge and Version Cue.

The project included development of RSS-feeds for monitoring of team-, project- and document activities for the purpose of improved control of the production process. Another key component included the building of a DAM-connector.

In order to provide users easy access to their external DAM, a JSR170 connector for Version Cue was implemented. This way a user can browse his DAM resources in Bridge and drag & drop the assets into the InDesign document. The solution includes features such as full support for synchronizing local and external assets.
