When working with Adobe InDesign you have the possibility to select what language the content has. Adobe InDesign uses the information to hyphenate and spellcheck the content. It also has the ability to integrate other third party dictionaries for hyphenation and spelling. By using the Adobe InDesign SDK we can extend InDesign to use grammar checking and spelling suggestions from external systems or corporate dictionaries.

Translation

The translation process usually comes late in the production process. Proofing the layout with different languages is done just before publishing. Translating content in its context is more intuitive and will help the translator to avoid mistakes.
